Sun protection is just as important during the fall & winter as it is during the summer. Cold doesn't have anything to do with the strength of the sun's ultraviolet UV radiation.. No matter how cold the temperature is outside, you can still get sundamage/sunburn. Always wear sunblock or a daytime moisturizer with at least SPF 15 or higher even in the winter. The winter weather will strip moisturizer from your skin ,using a day time moisturizer with SPF (sun protection factor) is a better choice in my opinion rather than a sunblock alone this way you will just need one product instead of using sunblock and a moisturizer separately.
I prefer mineral sun protecting agents zinc oxide and titanium dioxide which will not burn or sting and can be used under delicate eye area too and they are less likely to cause any allergic reaction or irritation.Don't forget your lip area.
